Isuzu D-Max Tint & Interior Protection Upgrade

This lifted Isuzu D-Max came back in for a practical upgrade. The owner wanted to reduce heat inside the cabin and keep the interior in better condition long term. Nothing overcomplicated. Just done properly with the right materials.

What We Did:

We installed a staggered ceramic tint setup using 35% on the front windows and 20% on the rear and back glass.

The 35% on the front is deliberate.

It keeps visibility clean during the day and at night, especially important on a lifted truck where driving position and road awareness matter. Going darker here would start to compromise usability.

The rear was done in 20%. This gives proper privacy without blacking everything out.

You can still see clearly through the back window at night, which is where most cheaper or overly dark films fail.

We used a high-quality ceramic film with strong UV and infrared rejection.

The difference is immediate when you sit inside the car. The cabin doesn’t hold that trapped heat you usually get in Phuket. Surfaces feel noticeably cooler and it cuts the harsh sun that comes through the glass.

On top of that, we installed Blackduck seat covers.

These are fitted properly, not loose universal covers. The goal here is simple.

Protect the factory seats from wear, sweat, and daily use, especially in a truck that’s actually being used.

In Phuket, heat is the biggest problem inside any car. Standard tint or factory glass doesn’t deal with it properly.

A proper ceramic tint setup changes how the car feels every time you get in. Less heat soak, less strain on the AC, and more comfort on longer drives.

The staggered tint setup also keeps the car usable. You get privacy and heat rejection without compromising visibility.

The seat covers protect resale value and stop the interior from getting destroyed over time, especially in a working vehicle like a D-Max.

Key Takeaways:

• 35% front tint keeps visibility usable while reducing heat

• 20% rear tint adds privacy without killing night vision

• Ceramic film blocks up to 98% of heat and UV

• Proper tint makes a noticeable difference in cabin temperature

• Fitted seat covers protect the interior and maintain value

This is how these jobs should be done.

Right film, correct percentages, and a setup that actually suits how the car is used.

Based in Phuket, we focus on upgrades that make a real difference, not just how the car looks on day one.
