The Wagner Tuning Performance Intercooler Kit is a serious cooling upgrade for the Mercedes-AMG C43 and other Mercedes 43 AMG models using the 3.0L V6 biturbo platform.
On tuned C43 AMG, C450 AMG, E43, GLC43 and GLE43 models, intake temperature becomes one of the main limits when pushing more boost and power. The factory intercooler can quickly become heat-soaked, especially in hot climates like Thailand. This Wagner upgrade is designed to reduce intake temperatures, improve charge-air density and help the engine maintain stronger, more consistent performance.
The intercooler core measures 222 mm x 297 mm x 95 mm and has a total volume of 6.3 litres, giving it 133% more volume than the factory 2.7L cooler. The larger core helps supply the engine with cooler, denser air, improving power delivery and supporting safer tuning on higher-performance setups.
Wagner uses CAD-optimised cast aluminium end tanks designed to improve internal airflow and reduce restriction. The intercooler also features an anti-corrosion coating with strong thermal conductivity, helping maintain cooling performance and long-term durability.
This kit is designed as a plug-and-play replacement, meaning it can be fitted without major modification. It is a strong supporting upgrade for Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 2+ Mercedes 43 AMG builds, especially when paired with ECU, TCU and CPC tuning.
