Ford Mustang Vinyl Striping and Brake Caliper Paint

This Ford Mustang came in for a full visual refresh.

The owner wanted something cleaner but still aggressive. Nothing over the top, just the right details done properly.

The focus was on striping, brake calipers, and cleaning up the overall finish of the car.

What We Did:

We started with the vinyl work. Full white striping across the bonnet, then layered red accent pieces into the design. Getting this right is not just about sticking vinyl on.

The alignment and symmetry of the stripes across the panels matters more than anything.

If it is even slightly off, you see it straight away.

We spent time making sure the stripe layout sat perfectly centered and flowed properly over the bonnet and front end.

The red accent had to sit clean inside the white without bleed or uneven spacing.

That layering is where most of the visual quality comes from.

Next was the brake setup.

The customer wanted Brembo calipers, so we refinished them in a proper red to match the theme.

This was done as a full repaint, not a quick spray job.

Proper prep, clean finish, and correct colour so it ties in with the stripe accents without looking mismatched.

The wheels were in rough condition, so they went through a full repair process.

We corrected the damage and refinished them in gloss black.

This completely changed the base of the car and gave the rest of the details something solid to sit against.

To finish it off, we ran a full in and out detail.

The goal here was to bring everything back up to standard so the new work did not sit on top of a tired car. Paint, trim, interior, everything cleaned and reset.

Details like this only work if everything ties together.

The stripe symmetry, the colour match between accents and brakes, and the condition of the wheels all affect how the car reads as a whole.

If one part is off, the entire look falls apart.

Doing it properly means the car looks intentional, not pieced together.

Clean lines, consistent colour, and a solid finish across every part of the car.

Key Takeaways:

Stripe alignment and symmetry is what separates clean from sloppy

Layered vinyl needs precise spacing to look right up close

Brake caliper colour should match the overall theme, not just stand out

Wheel condition impacts the entire look of the car

A proper detail is required to support visual upgrades
